a. Erect a shelter for the KCLFF or KCLFF-E to protect both the equipment and operators from the elements. A
shelter will reduce heat loss from food items and beverages. Tentage is not a component of the kitchen because of the
limited transportation assets in the light division, however, tentage is available as a CTA item. A minimum of 150 ft2 of
tentage is required. When operating below 0F (-18C), additional cold weather items such as insulted liner, M-41 heater
and smoke pipes are required for operation.
