b. Trailer Valve.
(1) Removal.
(a) Drain air tanks.
(b) Tag and disconnect hoses (1 through 4) from trailer valve (5).
(c) Disconnect three tube and nut assemblies ( 7, 8 and 9). Remove
connectors (10, 11 and 12).
(d) Turn trailer valve (5) counterclockwise to remove from tank (13).
(2) Installation.
NOTE
Use anti-seize tape on all pipe fittings.
(a) Position trailer valve (5) on tank (13) and turn clockwise to install. The valve must be
vertical and the joint tight.
(b) Install connectors (10, 11 and 12) on valve. Connect tube and nut
assemblies (7, 8 and 9).
(c) Install hoses (1 through 4).
