SAFETY CHAINS

General mechanics tool kit
Torque wrench, 3/4 inch drive, 0-600 lb-ft.
Socket, 3/4inch, 3/4 inch drive
a. Removal.
Remove nut (1), eye bolt (2) and safety chain (3).
b. Installation.
Mount chain to frame with eye bolt (2) and nut (1). Tighten nut until snug on frame.
NOTE
Minimum backoff torque for nut (1) is 30 lb-ft.
